What is left ventricular cavity obliteration?

What is left ventricular cavity obliteration?
I have not actually heard this term before. I would think it means that the heart muscle in your left ventricle is increased to the point that the size of the left ventricular cavity is decreased significantly. That is the only thing I can think of unfortunately. You should ask your Cardiologist. I am sorry I could not help you more.LV cavity obliteration is basically what it sounds like, when the LV squeezes in systole the cavity is completely closed off. Normally the LV doesn't completely empty of blood. Depending on how severe your LVH is, that could be the cause. It could also be caused by dehydration.
